Consultation

Consultations are provided as an opportunity for you to ask the following:

• specific laws  pertaining to Divorce, starting a Parentage case for unmarried parents, the process of filing for and paperwork needed to complete a divorce

• how to file a modification of a prior Child Support Order, defending against actions taken by State child support services....

• what are the correct formulas to calculate past due child support AND the Interest.

• how can the Court classify property as non-marital

• is my Prenuptial Agreement enforceable

• what actions typically generate attorneys to charge for fees

• is a flat fee the same thing as a retainer

• child support or maintenance withholding by employers

• can my spouse be required to pay the flat fee or the retainer for my own attorney 

• how does a Fee Waiver effect a case differently in Winnebago/Boone versus Ogle/Stephenson

• can an future ex-spouse obtain  my pension earned while we were married

• talking to an experienced attorney may provide an alternative position on the law versus the opinion your friends want to tell you.

• Is it possible for Judges to have different conclusions, and can you pick the Judge you want

• the consultation fee is $100.00 for up to sixty minutes. If retained within 48 hours of the consultation the $100.00 fee is credited to the $1,000.00 retainer.

• consultations are confidential

• may take place in person or phone or zoom.  For an out of office consultation the $100.00 fee is paid in advance.
